The Now Natura Resort has undergone extensive renovations, opening its doors in September 2020 as Dreams Natura. The all-inclusive resort has it all; luxurious amenities, endless features, and a breathtaking view of the Caribbean.
The resort opened its doors in September of 2020, complete with several beautiful upgrades and renovations. The EnviroGrid® that was installed has successfully maintained the integrity of the beach by providing a stable surface.
EnviroGrid® 6" was chosen by the contractor to stabilize the beach sand while also preventing erosion issues from the wind and foot traffic. Portions of the beach included slight sloping grades that needed to be stabilized. After sub-base work was complete, a geotextile was placed to create a barrier between the sand and EnviroGrid®. Then, the geocell was expanded and the panels were connected with a pneumatic stapler. Then, the cells were filled with the beach's white sand, and compacted to provide a stable base.
